The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (VE) belongs to the specialized surgical area at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) and currently operates in Lund, Malmö, Helsingborg, and Kristianstad. We are a region-wide organization and together we drive and develop oral and maxillofacial surgical activities across the entire specialty's care panorama. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome a new colleague to the position of assistant dentist for a training position! The training is for those who later wish to progress to a residency position in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

The position means that you will be employed within Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Skåne, with placement in Lund, Helsingborg, or Kristianstad depending on needs. Your tasks will initially involve handling dentoalveolar surgery under supervision, but later more independently.

The position is limited to a maximum of two years of service, where the first six months will determine if you are eligible for an extended appointment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed dentist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have at least two years of experience in general dentistry. Experience as a general dentist beyond the two years is meritorious up to four years. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required.

As a person, you are driven and have good communication and collaboration skills. You are attentive and humble and value respectful treatment of patients, their relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have a good ability to plan and organize your work together with your colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability.
